Rick The Ruler was blessed with the talent to provide excitement wherever he went. Rick the Ruler is an icon in the sound system business out of Belize. Born in New York, and raised in Miami, Florida, Rick the Ruler established a name for himself in the music business in 1983.
The Ruler has performed from the early days of house parties, to today’s hottest nightclubs and dancehall venues internationally. In 1996, the Ruler relocated to Belize, Central America, re-establishing himself and conquering the hearts of many Dancehall and Soca fans, and today, once again residing in Miami, Florida, he still remains one of the top sound systems representing Belize in the U.S.
An innovator of originality, the Ruler swarms the mass number of dancehall/soca fans with the hottest, blazing tracks and mesmerizing original remixes.
The Ruler has worked with great acts and sounds such as Stonelove, Kilamanjaro, Tony Matterhorn, Renaissance, Reggaelution, Fire Fraternity, Byron Lee, Mr. Vegas, Xtatik Band, Bunji Garlin, Maximus Dan, Iwer George, Naya George, Faye-Ann Lyons as well as the late Dennis Brown, and the list goes on.
